Ground Shooting

We use the latest airgun weaponry, Day/Night Scopes and Thermal Scope Technology for a more accurate fast shot placement.

Each Contracted Shooter is accompanied with a spotter who assists with pointing out Pest Bird Locations with Handheld Thermal.

We believe this is the most practical and humane killing method when it comes to eliminating Pest Birds.

We will organise a management Plan for the client where follow up shoots may be required, depending on the infestation numbers.

Nesting

Pigeon nests are usually built in or near roosting sites. Pigeons nest on a ledge, balcony, windowsill or roof area under cover, under eaves, rain gutters, in an attic, rafters, under a bridge or overpass. Although they can breed year-round, especially in warm regions. In most areas there are two primary breeding seasons: March to June, and again in August to November. In general, eggs hatch 18 days after being laid and eggs for a second clutch are laid about 46 days after the previous clutch. In summer, there may be an overlap of clutches, with eggs of a second brood being laid in the nest before eggs of the first have hatched.

Prevenatives

People get bird spikes installed with the hope this will solve their pigeon issues straight away. It may deter some birds but if you have a infestation or the pigeons have been roosting within the space for a long period of time, they may learn to live around or even nest within the spikes. Poison Is another option which Is a method we don't use. This method is a slow kill process, with a horrible mess to clean up afterwards. Shooting is a direct fast kill method for the pest bird and we will dispose of the carcasses for the client where it is safe to do so.
